was born in Scotland, but learned all his lacrosse in Weston, Ontario. A classy, heady-type defenceman, he could control the tempo of the game and settle down the younger players when things got hot and heavy. He led Mimico to the Mann Cup in 19'' and did the same for Orillia in 19'4 and 19'5, before finishing his career with the R.C.A.F. team in Lachine, Quebec.
