1969 Hugh Gifford 193Hugh Gifford first played with the New Westminster, British Columbia Salmonbellies in 1910.

He was instrumental in the club winning a number of Mann and Minto Cups during the years he played, 19'0 to 19'5. He helped to establish the famous New Westminster Adanac Club and also refereed lacrosse for many years. Hugh was known as a determined, powerful stalwart on defense.

He joined his brothers Tom (1966) and Jim (Charter) in the Hall of Fame.
