1974 Roy Gore 267Roy Gore - was rated as the outstanding defenceman in Eastern field lacrosse prior to World War I.

He had a twelve year senior career with the Toronto Tecumsehs and was their leader during that time. A tough rugged individual, he played the game to win.

Following his playing career, he turned to refereeing and spent nine years on the senior Ontario Lacrosse Association circuit.

Then came the job of building minor lacrosse teams, and Roy spent his efforts on the financial end of the Riverside Athletic Club, the Tecumsehs, and the Riverdales.
