1970 Carl Grauer 200 Carl Leonard Grauer, prior to World War II, was active as a player, coach, and team manager of lacrosse teams in his native Richmond, B.C.

During his active career at the team level, Grauer was involved in both field and box lacrosse.  After the war he rose through the ranks of the British Columbia Lacrosse Association to be chairman of the Inter-City Lacrosse Commission for four years, following which he capped his over 40 years in lacrosse as Chairman of the Canadian lacrosse Hall of Fame.
