Bob Watson (Player) – Bob Watson played 19 seasons of OLA based lacrosse Including 4 in Junior B including two Founders Cup wins with Kitchener-Waterloo Braves, and a season In Jr A with the Kitchener Braves. In 13 Seasons of Major Series Lacrosse, he was a member of one Mann Cup with the Brampton Excelsiors in 2002. In the National Lacrosse League Bob played 15 seasons winning the NLL Champions Cup 6 terms. A top-notch caliber goaltender, Bob was a pleasure to watch play. Among his lengthy list of awards are NLL Goal tender of the Year (2001, 2008), NLL Champions Cup Most Valuable Player (2001, 2003, 2011), and Induction into the NLL Hall of Fame (Class of 2011). |
