Steve d'Easum, starting at the age of thirteen, played all of his lacrosse in New Westminster, British Columbia, ending his twenty-year career as coach of his beloved 'Bellies'. Affectionately known as Stump, he was a hardworking playmaker who ragged the ball as well as anyone in the game. He retired fifth on the all-time western list of assists with 689 - a reflection of his impressive playmaking abilities - and 85' points. |
