Dave Tasker, formerly of Vancouver, played '10 games for Vancouver of the Western Lacrosse Association and Montreal of the National Lacrosse League during the 1970's, accumulating '90 goals and 455 assists for 845 points.

A teammate of Ron Pinder on the 1971 Richmond Roadrunners, Dave captured the scoring title and MVP honours on the way to the Minto Cup.

Then, at the senior level, he took part in three Mann Cup series, winning twice.
