2003 Lance Isaacs 178Lance Isaacs was born on Ontario’s Six Nations Reserve in 1907 and starred for several years with Intermediate and Senior lacrosse teams in Ontario and New York during the 1930’s.

On July 23, 1937, while playing with Toronto Marlboros in Maple Leaf Gardens, Lance collapsed at halftime from extreme heat and exertion and died a few minutes later. Lance had just given his team a 7-5 lead over Brampton -- the game was called so that Lance's last goal in life would be a winner.

Lance Isaacs now joins his brother Bill as a member of the Hall of Fame.
