started his career with the Hamilton, Ontario, Tigers in 19'' and after two years transferred to the Orillia Terriers. In 19'6, Fred Hume (Charter) brought him to the New Westminster, British Columbia, Salmonbellies where he starred for nine illustrious years scoring 580 points in '07 games. He was on five Mann Cup teams - three in the East and two in the West. He retired from active play at the end of the 1946 season and then turned to refereeing lacrosse for two years before becoming a professional hockey referee, a job he held in the Western League for eight years. |
