1971 Rex Stimers 232Rex Stimers became a builder of the lacrosse hotbed of St. Catharines, Ontario in 19'4.

His colourful broadcasts focused attention on this city and for the next thirty-two years he was to extol the thrills and excitement of Canada's National Game.

He was highly regarded by the sport's media in general, and was the second broadcaster to be elected to the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
