Bill Armstrong's involvement in the game has spanned more than 40 years, all with the New Westminster Salmonbellies Club.

He started with the Juniors and quickly moved up to the Senior team where he was a team manager, general manager, and finally president. Bill was appointed a governor of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame and was the secretary-treasurer for five years.

He also was a driving force behind the Salmonbellies Alumni Association and remains active as a director with the club.
