Featured Story:

started his career with the Hamilton Ontario Tigers in 1932 and after two years transferred to the Orillia Terriers.  In 1936, Fred Hume brought him to the New Westminster Salmonbellies where he starred for nine illustrious years scoring 580 point sin 207 games to go with his eastern record of 129 goals and assists for 184 point sin 107 games.  He was on five Mann Cup teams - three in the and two in the West.  He retired from active play at the end of the 1946 season and then turned to refereeing lacrosse for two years before becoming a professional hockey referee, a job he held in the Western League for eight years.
