1981 Mel Jones 344Mel Jones - returned from the R.C.A.F. following World War II to become the heart and soul of the Indians senior lacrosse club.

Mel played his first senior game as a sixteen-year-old, picking up four assists for the Vancouver, British Columbia, Burrards. He briefly played during the war years and in 1946 he lined up fulltime with the Indians, playing until 1955.

He recorded 259 games, scoring 393 goals and assisting on 189 for a total of 582 points.
