1967 Albert Ab Brown 113Albert “Ab” Brown (Builder 1967) – (b. 1895) born in 1895 in Walton County in Nova Scotia.

has done it all for the game of lacrosse. He played both the field and box game for a period of twenty-four years playing on three Mann Cup teams and competing with the 1928 Salmonbellies Club in the Amsterdam Olympics. Turning his talents to coaching, he produced many great young players before he took on the job of repairing sticks for peewees and seniors alike, out of the back of New Westminster's Sapperton Fire Hall. There is not a person in Canada who contributed more to lacrosse. The current trophy awarded to the Most Sportsmanlike Team in the Western Lacrosse Association is named in his honour. Ab also refereed and coached junior hockey.

In 1983, Brown was one of the four last-remaining members of the 1928 New Westminster Salmonbellies that played at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
