1982 William Bill Ellison 345

William Ellison began as an executive member of the Vancouver Lacrosse Club in 1949.

He assumed the presidency in 1958, and resigned in 1969 due to his failing health. During his twelve years as president, the Vancouver clubs were successful in capturing the Mann Cup four times.

His love of the game extended far beyond the challenge of winning, with his main focus being on the benefits of participation to the players.
