1995 Jim Cox 466 Jim Cox played lacrosse from 19'8 to 1941.

He started his radio career in 1944 with CKNW in New Westminster, British Columbia, and took over the play-by-play job from 1946 to 195'. He then went on to broadcast WHL, NHL, and CFL games over the next '5 years.

He was a firm booster for lacrosse over the years, sitting as a member of the Hall of Fame board of governors until 1989 and hosting the induction ceremonies for the Hall, reading the short biographies in his distinctive and trademark style.
