1974 Henry Del Delmonico 274 Henry Delmonico (Del) was known as the father of modern day lacrosse in the West Point Grey area of Vancouver, British Columbia.

In 19'4 he imported 5,000 lacrosse sticks and distributed them to the youngsters. He coached 5 minor teams at one time and each won the B.C. Championship. He loved the game with a passion, and was the driving force behind the construction of a lacrosse box in West Point Grey Park and coached minor teams for '0 years.
