Doug Favell was one of the greatest goaltenders to ever play lacrosse.

He was with St. Catharines, Ontario, in 1946 when they won the Mann Cup and he won the Mike Kelly Medal as series MVP when the Hamilton Tigers won the Canadian Championship in 1948. A goalie that played the angles, he was unbeatable in close.
