1978 Pete Anthony 313Pete Anthony - started his senior career in his hometown of Brampton, Ontario, in 1932.

He transferred to Orillia in 1934, leading them to their first of three consecutive Mann Cups. Fred Hume (Charter) brought him West to play for the New Westminster, British Columbia, Salmonbellies in 1936 where he thrilled the fans with his acrobatic style of stopping the ball.

He was a fearless player, and one of the last to play goal without a face mask.
