started his senior career in 1950 with St. Catharines, Ontario.

He played in the Ontario Lacrosse Association with Toronto, Orillia, and Hamilton, in addition to one season each with Nanaimo, and Victoria, British Columbia.

He won several scoring titles, scoring over 500 goals and 800 points and was the playing coach for the St. Catharines Mann Cup winning team of 1963.
