2004 Bob Tasker 501

played in the WLA from 1974 to 1985 with the New Westminster Salmonbellies and the Coquitlam Adanacs. Bob was one of four Tasker brothers (Al, Brian, Dave) who played in the WLA during this era. Tasker was best known for his scoring abilities and a knack for loose balls. In his 10-year WLA career, Bob played in 258 games scoring 340 goals and 340 assists for 680 total points for an average of over 2.6 points per game. Tasker won two Mann Cup titles with the ‘Bellies in 1974 and ’76. He was named to the First All-Star team in 1977 after reaching the 100-point mark in just 24 games for New Westminster; and Second All-Star Team honours in 1983 with the Adanacs. Bob joins brothers Brian and Dave in the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
