with the Weston Club and the Irish Canadians Club before becoming active at the executive level. He coached the famous Mimico Mountaineers Club and in later years was president of the Canadian Lacrosse Association.

He was the father of Thomas Blain "Red" McDonald (Inducted 1970 - Box Player)
